InkGeeks FAQs
Fast answers for custom transfers, artwork setup, production timing, pressing, shipping, returns, and memberships.
Orders & Products
Q1 Do I need a minimum order?
No. You can order one gang sheet, a full production batch, or anything in between.
Need to test inks or placement first? Grab a smaller run, see the result on-press, then scale up confidently.
Q2 What products can I customize?
InkGeeks supports custom DTF transfers, DTG apparel, embroidery, blanks, fabric, and leather-focused projects.
Bring your finished art, logo sets, or streetwear line — we will help you pick the right process for the garment and the look you want.
Q3 Can I reorder the same artwork?
Yes. Pull up your prior order or reuse the approved file notes so inks, sizing, placement, and finish stay consistent batch to batch.
For big seasonal drops or repeat clients, keep one master gang sheet tuned for your blanks so every restock lands the same.
Artwork Files
Q1 Will you check my artwork?
Yes. Every order receives a quick review for resolution, transparency, sizing, and obvious print issues.
If something would print fuzzy, too heavy, or out of garment tolerance, we flag it before inks hit the station.
Q2 Which file type is best?
Transparent PNG at 300 DPI at final print dimension is ideal. Vector files like AI, EPS, SVG, or press-ready PDFs also work nicely.
Flatten effects when possible so nothing drops out at RIP — label layers if you intentionally need spot whites or varnish passes.
Q3 Can you remove a background?
Yes, simple backgrounds can usually be pulled before production fees stack up.
If you want full vector retraces, multi-color separates, or hand lettering rebuilds we quote extra design time upfront so there are no surprises.
Pressing Transfers
Q1 What fabrics can I press on?
Cotton, polyester, blends, fleece, canvas, performance knits, and many treated substrates press clean.
Heavy siliconized or water-resistant finishes can behave differently — ping us when you are testing novelty fabrics.
Q2 Do transfers need a heat press?
A heat press gives steady pressure plus dwell control so adhesives marry evenly fiber to ink.
Iron-only setups vary wildly in temperature maps and pressure — fine for experimentation, risky for resale inventory.
Q3 Are press instructions included?
Yes. Orders include cheat-sheet steps for temps, pressures, peels, dwell, and troubleshooting.
Hang onto that sheet anytime you onboard a new teammate or bounce between blanks — it keeps QA consistent garage to garage.
Shipping & Turnaround
Q1 How fast does it ship?
Most custom DTF gang sheet orders print and ship within 24 business hours after artwork is approved.
Busy seasons, rework requests, carrier pickup timing, or special finishing can stretch that slightly — we communicate if anything slips.
Q2 Can I rush an order?
Rush availability depends on gang fill, curing steps, staffing, and what is printing ahead of you.
For hard deadlines DM us with SKU counts, garments, pickup city, plus when you MUST have cartons staged — then we sanity check before checkout.
Q3 Will I get tracking?
Yes. Tracking emits as soon as the carrier scans pickup — watch spam folders if nothing hits your inbox instantly.
Holiday surges occasionally delay first scans; your label may exist before hubs move it visibly.
Memberships
Q1 How do membership discounts work?
The Techie, The Genius, and The Brain Trust memberships unlock recurring savings on eligible InkGeeks orders.

Q2 Which products qualify for member savings?

Q3 Are membership discounts applied automatically?

Q4 Do brain trust members really get free 2-day shipping?
Yes, the brain trust members receive free 2-day shipping on qualifying orders. Blank apparel may show separate shipping rules at checkout.
Q5 Can I cancel membership?
Yes. Memberships are built for active creators and shops, so you can manage or cancel when needed.
If you churn on and off depending on bookings, ping support so we preserve any loyalty perks you qualify for coming back.
Q6 Is there a minimum order amount?
No minimum is required to use your membership discount. Order one custom piece or a full production run whenever you need it.
Payments & Order Changes
Q1 When am I charged for my order?
For most transfers and printed-to-order work, payment is captured when checkout completes and your placement is locked in.
If we are waiting on artwork approval before production, billing still follows Shopify’s checkout rules shown on your confirmation email.
Q2 Can I cancel or change an order after it is placed?
You can cancel or update details quickly if printing has not begun yet.
Once production starts, cancellations may no longer be possible — message support ASAP with order number plus the change needed so we can check the queue.
Q3 What payment methods are accepted?
Checkout supports the major cards and local payment methods Shopify shows for your region.
If payment fails, try another card, confirm billing zip matches the bank, or send us a screenshot of the error for a quick troubleshoot.
Print Quality
Q1 How close will colors match what I see on screen?
Monitors glow; ink sits on fibers or film — hues can shift subtly based on substrates, curing, inks, ambient light, or press profiles.
Embed brand hex codes plus Pantones when precision matters so our team knows which tones you are guarding.
Q2 What if something looks off when it arrives?
Open a ticket with crisp photos plus your order number inside 48 hours of delivery so we can compare to the proof path.
When an issue qualifies under InkGeeks’ quality rework policy we route you toward replacement or corrective production fast.
