Agreement & Acceptance
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before placing an order with Ink Geeks ("we," "us," or "our"). By uploading artwork, submitting an order, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms apply to all customers, visitors, and users who access or place orders through our website, in-store, or via any other sales channel. If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, please do not place an order.
This agreement becomes effective upon submission of your first order and remains in effect for all future transactions unless terminated by either party.
Products & Services
Ink Geeks offers the following custom print services:
- DTF (Direct to Film) heat transfers — printed to order on premium film, ready to press onto garments and hard substrates
- DTG (Direct to Garment) printing — full-color digital printing applied directly to fabric
- Custom embroidery — digitized thread designs sewn onto garments, headwear, and accessories
- Gang sheet printing — multiple designs arranged on a single DTF sheet for maximum cost efficiency
All products are made to order. Ink Geeks does not carry pre-made inventory for custom orders. Product availability, pricing, and service offerings are subject to change without prior notice.
Artwork & File Requirements
Customers are solely responsible for supplying print-ready artwork. To ensure the best possible output, please follow these file guidelines:
- File formats accepted: PNG (preferred, transparent background), PDF, AI, EPS, or PSD
- Minimum resolution: 300 DPI at final print size
- Color mode: CMYK preferred; RGB files are accepted but may produce slight color shifts during conversion
- For DTF and DTG: transparent or white backgrounds are recommended; black backgrounds will be printed unless removed
- For embroidery: vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) are preferred; raster images may require digitization fees
Ink Geeks is not responsible for poor print quality, color inaccuracies, blurriness, or missing elements resulting from low-resolution, improperly formatted, or incomplete customer-supplied files. We will do our best to flag obvious file issues before printing, but we cannot guarantee review of every order prior to production.
If you require artwork assistance, design cleanup, or file preparation, please inquire about our design services. Additional fees may apply.
Intellectual Property & Copyright
By submitting artwork to Ink Geeks, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the original creator of the submitted design, or you hold a valid license or written permission to reproduce it
- Your design does not infringe upon the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any third party
- You have the legal right to have the design reproduced and distributed in the manner requested
Ink Geeks strictly prohibits the printing of any design that reproduces copyrighted characters, logos, brand marks, sports team imagery, licensed artwork, or any other protected intellectual property without verifiable proof of authorization. This includes but is not limited to Disney, Marvel, DC Comics, Nike, and major sports league logos.
Ink Geeks reserves the right to refuse any order that we reasonably believe infringes on third-party intellectual property rights, without liability to the customer.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ink Geeks and its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, or costs — including legal fees — arising from your violation of this section.
With your permission, Ink Geeks may use images of completed orders for marketing and portfolio purposes. To opt out, please notify us in writing at the time of your order.
Order Processing & Turnaround Times
Standard production turnaround for DTF transfers is [X–X] business days from the time a complete, approved order is received. DTG and embroidery orders may have varying lead times depending on order size and complexity.
- Turnaround time begins only after full payment is confirmed and print-ready artwork is received and approved
- Rush and expedited production may be available for an additional fee — contact us before placing your order to confirm availability
- Turnaround estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by high order volume, equipment maintenance, or circumstances outside our control
- Orders may ship within a quantity tolerance of ±5% of the requested amount, which is standard for the custom print industry
Ink Geeks will make every reasonable effort to communicate any delays that arise after your order is confirmed.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at the time of order confirmation is the price honored for that order.
- Payment in full is required before production begins, unless a prior credit arrangement has been approved in writing by the Ink Geeks team
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, ACH/bank transfer, and other payment methods as listed at checkout
- Net 15/30 payment terms may be available for established wholesale accounts upon written approval
- Late or overdue invoices may be subject to penalties at the sole discretion of the Ink Geeks team
- Applicable sales tax will be collected based on the delivery address and governing tax laws
Returned or disputed payments will result in an immediate halt of production and/or order release until the matter is resolved.
Color Accuracy
Ink Geeks strives to produce vibrant, accurate prints. However, color reproduction in DTF, DTG, and embroidery is subject to natural limitations:
- Monitor/screen color profiles (RGB) and print color profiles (CMYK) differ; on-screen colors will not be an exact match to printed output
- Fabric type, texture, and color can affect the appearance of the final print — especially on dark or non-white garments
- Exact Pantone or spot color matching is not guaranteed unless a color-match proof is specifically requested and approved in advance
- Slight color variation between print runs is inherent to digital printing processes and does not constitute a defect
If color accuracy is critical for your project, we strongly recommend requesting a pre-production proof prior to a full run. Proof fees may apply.
Shipping & Delivery
Ink Geeks ships via third-party carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, or similar). Once an order is handed to the carrier, delivery is the responsibility of the shipping provider.
- Ink Geeks is not liable for delays, lost packages, or damage caused by the carrier once your order has been dispatched
- Shipping damage must be reported to Ink Geeks within 3 business days of delivery with supporting photographic evidence
- We will assist in filing carrier claims for damaged shipments; however, reimbursement timelines are determined by the carrier
- Estimated shipping times provided at checkout are carrier estimates and are not guaranteed
- Ink Geeks is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer — additional reship fees will apply
Local pickup is available at our Richardson, TX facility at 1303 E Arapaho Rd, Ste 100. Please contact us in advance to arrange a pickup time during business hours (9am–5pm CST).
Returns, Refunds & Defects
All custom orders are made to order and are non-refundable. We do not accept returns or issue refunds based on customer error, including incorrect sizing, design, color expectations, or application mistakes.
- Defective items must be reported within 15 days of delivery with photos clearly showing the defect
- Verified defects will be reprinted or credited at our discretion — refunds are issued only in cases where a reprint or credit is not a viable resolution
- Returns, if authorized, must be shipped prepaid by the customer to our facility
- We are not responsible for defects resulting from improper application of heat transfers, incorrect press temperatures/pressure/timing, or damage caused after delivery
- DTF transfers that have already been pressed onto garments are not eligible for return or refund
Ink Geeks stands behind the quality of our work. If your order contains a verified manufacturing defect, we will work to make it right:

Embroidery-Specific Terms
- All embroidery designs must be digitized prior to stitching. If a digitized file is not provided, digitization services are available at an additional fee
- Fine details, gradients, and photographic elements cannot be reproduced accurately through embroidery — designs may be simplified during digitization
- Thread colors are matched as closely as possible to the supplied design but may not be an exact match to CMYK or Pantone references
- A digitization proof or stitch-out sample may be requested by the customer for an additional fee; production will not begin without approval if a sample is requested
- Garments supplied by the customer for embroidery are accepted at the customer's risk — Ink Geeks is not liable for pre-existing garment defects or damage that occurs during the embroidery process beyond reasonable care
DTG Printing-Specific Terms
- DTG printing produces optimal results on 100% cotton or high-cotton-blend fabrics; results on polyester, tri-blends, or performance fabrics may vary
- All garments printed via DTG are pre-treated with a solution that improves ink adhesion — this is a standard and necessary step in the process
- Pre-treatment marks are normal and will wash out after the first wash; follow wash instructions included with your order
- Ink Geeks is not responsible for variation in print appearance caused by fabric inconsistencies, texture, or dye lot differences within a customer-supplied garment order
- Customer-supplied garments for DTG are accepted at the customer's risk; we recommend providing a 5–10% overage for spoilage allowance on large runs
Confidentiality & Privacy
Ink Geeks treats all customer-submitted artwork and business information as confidential. We do not sell, share, redistribute, or otherwise disclose customer designs to third parties.
Uploaded artwork and order details are used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and, with your permission, for marketing or portfolio showcasing. You may opt out of any marketing use of your designs at any time by notifying us in writing.

Limitation of Liability

- Errors, inaccuracies, or quality issues resulting from customer-supplied artwork or instructions
- Carrier delays, loss, or damage to shipments after dispatch
- Improper application, pressing errors, or garment damage caused by the customer
- Unauthorized access to or misuse of submitted designs or account information
- Business losses, lost profits, or lost revenue resulting from order delays or errors
In any event, Ink Geeks' total liability to any customer for any claim arising out of or related to a specific order shall not exceed the total value paid by the customer for that specific order.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or an order placed with Ink Geeks shall first be addressed through good-faith communication between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Richardson, Texas under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
Ink Geeks reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
